And so the infamous wind from siberia is here again. Shanghai temperature plunged to 6 deg. Beijing was having heavy snow. Is feeling sort of cheated. I was in Beijing for 6 months and there's only that pitiful 2 days of light snow. This year hatsuyuki is more than a month earlier.
Maa, the rest of the week will still be cold. yay! |

So I've been back in Shanghai for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks of good Singapore food, food here... (︶︿︶) sigh~
Is thinking of getting a DSLR and start experimenting, since I'm bored... Not a very good reason to start on photography but... I'm REALLY BORED!!! /(ㄒoㄒ)/~~ So I'm considering nikon D60 and canon 450D now. The problem is I'm not sure which is better... for me. Online reviews for both is good, splendid (⊙_⊙?) How to choose like that~~~
Went to the National Day Dinner organized by Shanghai Singapore Business Chamber this evening. As usual, such dinners are boring. (︶︿︶) been repeating different forms of the word bored throughout this post...
There are some interesting singing competition show on the tv though. Some of these chinese singers are fantastic ^_____^b But of course where there are great singers, there are... singers with rooms as big as stadium for improvement. Just watched a band competition where the lead singer of one finalist reminded me of KHK audition o(╯口╰)o |

which means it's getting really warm over here. AND air cons decide to kaput. D:
First, it's the one in the living room at home. Then the one in office meeting room huff and puff in the middle of a meeting and "cough" out a light bulb on the false ceiling. DD: Went over to the factory in the evening for a workshop and found the whole central air con system died. \TAT/ どうして！！！

Moved into the new house and spent the last few days cleaning and unpacking.
Was going through a streak of bad luck for the past few days. First after moving into the new house last thursday, there is no hot water for bathing. D: Took 3 days and 4 technicians to get it done. T-T Then the house was not cleaned up at all after renovation. So mother and I lived like refugees for 3 days TAT
Next, I'm having diarrhea since Friday. All because I drank a bottle of yogurt. D: OMFG! Can't eat dairy products in China!
Because I'm working, we only start packing up on Friday night and Saturday. It's a horrid experience. All the furniture has dirt, unknown white/grey powder, random wood chips, specks of sand... D: _-_ To add on to it, 39 boxes of our stuff came from Beijing. TAT I'm really proud that we managed to unpack, clean up 80% of the house, buy all the essentials in two days. All this while I'm having random stomaches and collecting scratches and cuts from the sharp edges of the furniture and a drawer dropping on my foot... *shiku*
Now that the house is clean, things are unpacked, hot water is here (OMG, hot water bath! =_=), I hope my streak of bad luck is over. T-T |

Mother and I reached Tokyo in the afternoon due to earlier flight. After walking up and down Ueno Station, climbing up railings to look for our hotel, we left our luggage there and popped over to Ueno Park nearby for sakura. :D Revisited both Ueno Park and Chidorigafuchi on Wednesday when we have more daylights for photos.

So Omi, Val and I, together with my mother, went to Japan. ^^ And we went in insane with photos. Therefore all post are photo intensive. :D

Went to Tohoku and came back. ^^ Went a bit insane on the photos side. Took at least 1500 photos? :D Because it's really beautiful! I like Tohoku. For one thing, it's not as crowded as Tokyo or Nikko since it's not exactly touristy. Everything is somewhat more rustic, less deliberate, more unadulterated. :p Oh, and I love the infamous zunda dessert (Date Masamune's favourite apparently) too. Not deadly sweet = loved XDDD
Halfway through the trip, my mother had a violent allergy to... not sure what. OTL I think my mother + me + Japan = jinxed. The last time the two of us went to japan together, she got a serious cold which became bronchitis when we came back. This time it's allergy. The only "good" that came out of these would be increasing my japanese vocabulary for illness... It's a rather rare/weird/interesting experience to explain a health condition to a doctor in broken japanese. T-T Somehow in the mist of broken japanese and english, we understood each other, my mother got her medicine and recovered after 2 days. ^^
Loots from Japan: Theater of Kiss, L'7 documentary (DVDs), HYDE best album (CD/DVD + poster), tights, socks, tabi socks, underwears D:, clothes! Shiroi Koibito and... lots of photos? :D
I wished I had more time to shop for clothes. Clothes are so pretty over there!

I so need to pimp this! Since watching first episode of Triangle, I have been waiting for its OST to be released. Really good music to go with the great story.

Loved most of the music tracks. Actually there's almost nothing I don't like. :D There's an english insert song by Cyua. The pronunciation aren't very good but I like the melody and it fits the mood of the drama.
